The Working Class Zero rods are built to provide superior hook penetration with Beast Hook style soft swimbaits.

The large Fuji reel seat and Deadweight ballast system in the 15 inch handle make the rods extremely well balanced when paired with the appropriate size reel. This makes it easy to keep the tip level, out of the water and pointed at the bait. An integral part of bite detection and pre-hook set mechanics.

The single foot low profile Fuji guides keep the blank light allowing it to recover quickly on the cast, generating higher line speeds and longer casts with less effort. The fast taper and true spine cause the rods to load and unload straight with zero sideways torquing of the blank, promoting consistently accurate cast.

None of what you just read matters if the rod doesn’t have the backbone to drive the hook home once bit. That’s the gist of it. The WCZ rods embody everything already stated but through properly allocated power combined with action, the rods shutoff quickly resulting in an excellent penetrating force.

It’s all in the small details with using the right components to create the best tool for the job.

Each rod comes with a custom Working Class Zero neoprene rod sleeve.
